Why we do it
Taking the robot out.
The robot spends plenty of time outside our shop. Since 2021–22, we've taken it to libraries, festivals, camps, and classrooms around Frisco and Lewisville. We plan and run the events ourselves, and we love seeing what kids ask when they get close to a real competition robot.

What we run.
Here are a few ways we share robotics with our community.
- 01 / 04
Summer camps
At our own RadiCamp, kids get to try robotics for themselves. We also mentored at Techie Factory's five-day camp, helping with LEGO robots, block coding, Minecraft, and Roblox Education.
RadiCamp · Techie Factory - 02 / 04
Library tech nights
At Frisco Public Library, we bring the robot to Family Tech Night, Teen Tech, and the STEM Fair. Kids can see it up close and ask us how it works.
Frisco Public Library - 03 / 04
Workshops
We help younger students build and experiment at Frisco Ignite's K–8 STEAM workshops and at a robotics workshop we hosted with the Society of Women Engineers.
Frisco Ignite · SWE - 04 / 04
Festivals & demos
We take a competition robot to festivals and school science nights, including Colorpalooza and Western Days. Seeing it drive in person usually starts a good conversation.
