2023-2024 Offseason Recap

The 2024 Radicubs season has started! Here we look back on all of our offseason activities.

As the season is about to start, Radicubs members have been hard at work this offseason developing new skills, finding new workspaces, applying to grants, and helping our Frisco community. From summer to now, we have been able to spread our robotics knowledge to local schools and cities with help from our charitable sponsors and donors.

Lewisville Colorpalooza:

We were able to introduce our team to the Lewisville Colorpalooza community and share our team.

Fight Like a Girl Competition:

This competition was a women driver only competition and gave our team members the opportunity to compete with teams in the area, this ended off with the radicubs on a winning alliance. 

Texas Talon Throwdown Competition:

This was a different competition following the Fight Like a Girl competition that allowed us to have a different group of people from our team to compete in an offseason competition, this ended in another victory for our team.

Cad4Kids:

We partnered with Cad4Kids to fundraise money for our team through a CAD competition.

WiRE:

Here we partnered with WiRE (Women in Robotics and Engineering) to promote girls in middle school to join robotics and promote them to join correlating career paths.

FLL Mentorship:

We were given the opportunity to help out team a FLL team from Skaggs elementary school and help them with their competition.
