Off Season Updates cover

Almost half of the FRC offseason has been completed, and Radicubs members have been hard at work developing programming and CAD skills, applying for grants, and reaching out for sponsorships! During the summer and now into the school year, we are continuing to spread robotics education in the community through our generous sponsor, Techie Factory, and by participating in STEM outreach events at the Frisco Public Library and our community.

Techie Factory Summer Camp

We had a great time mentoring campers at the Techie Factory summer camp held at the Lenovo Legion Esports Center! During the five days, campers explored block programming with the FIRST Lego League Spike robot and lessons (such as problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration) through Minecraft and Roblox Education programs.

FLL Mentorship

Alongside the summer camps, we are continuing to mentor FLL teams and prepare students for the 2022-23 Superpowered challenge.

Family Tech Night & Teen Tech

Through our partnership with The Frisco Public Library, we had the honor to participate in the Family Tech Night and Teen Tech events where we demoed our 2021-22 season robot and introduce robotics and FIRST to youth in the community!

Upcoming Outreach Events - STEM Fair & Western Days Festival

Radicubs is excited to announce that we’ll be participating in STEM Fair at the Frisco Public Library on September 10th and the Western Days Festival on September 23rd and 24th! We’re so grateful that our partnerships with The City of Frisco and The City of Lewisville continue to allow us to spread robotics education to citizens. Hope to see you there!

We’re so excited for what the upcoming FRC Charged Up season has in store for us, but for now, we will continue to build upon our technical skills, apply for grants, and introduce FIRST to our communities!
